Basic course (1. - 4. Semester)

The bases for the further studies are built up. The basic course is identical for the two studies directions, general physics (IIA) and physics of transportation and traffic (IIB) except for the specification regarding computer science or technical computer science as an option in IIB. Being covered:

	Mathematic: Mathematics for physicist I - IV
	Experimental Physic: Bases of the physics, physical traineeship for beginner
	Theoretical Physic: Mechanics, quantum theory
	Computer science or technical computer science

Intermediate exam

Verbal examinations in the subjects mentioned above.

 

Main studies (5. - 8. Semester)

	Experimental Physik: Structure of the matter, physical traineeship for an advanced, physical measuring technique
	Theoretical Physik: Statistical physics, hydrodynamics, transportation theory, traffic physics, granular matter, computer simulation/modeling
	Physical deepening subject: from the extensive supply of physics
	Mathematics: Discreet mathematics
	Logistics: Traffic business administration, logistics
	Professional traineeship (4 month): External traineeship at industrial enterprises, engineer enterprises or traffic planners (during the vacation)

Diploma examination

Verbal examinations in the subjects experimental physics, theoretical physics, physical deepening subject and logistics.

 

Diploma thesis (9. + 10. Semester)

9 months + 3 months training period.
